3 Quick Apply Part-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Hillside is looking for a part-time co-lead teacher for our Pre-K class.
The position is Mondays and Thursdays only, 9:
00 am -6:
00 pm, with the possibility of full-time lead teacher in the summer.
This is a team teacher position.
Hillside Academy is a private Christian school with a mission to foster future innovators and leaders through project-based learning.
We utilize a STEAM approach with hands-on learning.
Teachers emphasize academics, problem-solving, creativity, social skills, and character development.
The Preschool Teacher will work with other teachers to help implement activities for children, such as storytelling or art projects.
They instruct and supervise them in social and developmental activities, assist with feeding, and generally provide one-on-one attention when needed.
He or she must help organize the classroom and plan intellectual activities for children and communicate with the parents on an on-going basis.
The duties also include interacting with children, preparing snacks, light cleaning and organizing, and communicating positively with children, parents, and other staff members.
The teachers will work with the team to evaluate students' social development and physical well-being as well as academic readiness for PreK.
